Documentation and Informed Consent

We will review important documents together and discuss the goals and steps of the evaluation.

Analysis, evaluation and report preparation

A thorough assessment and analysis of the gathered information will be conducted, leading to a comprehensive evaluation report that emphasizes the pertinent psychological factors affecting the immigration case. This detailed report ranges from 8-20 pages, depending on evaluation type. Reports are typically completed within 10 days from initial interview. Expedited services are available for an additional fee.

Clinical Interview

We will explore your personal history, mental health, and immigration background. If needed, we may conduct additional interviews to obtain a more thorough understanding. This is typically done in a 2-4 hour interview, often broken up into two sessions.

Legal collaboration and follow up

Collaborating closely with your legal representative, we'll ensure the alignment of the evaluation with legal requirements. Ongoing follow-up will be available to address any further needs or questions that may arise.

  • For immigration evaluations, you may need an independent translator to ensure accuracy and fairness. This is important for the evaluation’s integrity. If you have a translator, they can be there in person or join via video call. If you need us to arrange a translator, we will handle the scheduling and their participation, either in person or online during your evaluation. Please be aware that there is an extra fee of $200 for this service, which helps ensure clear communication throughout the process.

  • The evaluation can be conducted online through a secure and confidential platform (Doxy.Me). A stable internet connection and a device with a camera are necessary for this option. If you prefer an in-person evaluation, sessions are available at our offices in Addison, Dallas, Frisco, or Plano.
